I had a dream that I was back in my family house that I grew up in. There were two fish tanks and I saw something strange in each of them. I tried to get them out of the tank and when I did, one morphed into a sort of iguana/Komodo dragon sort of thing, and the second one morphed into a strange looking alligator or crocodile. There was also something that kind of resembled a rat in the second fish tank. I was trying to kill them both since they were loose in the house and to protect them from harming anyone (I think my sister was also there) or my cat, Zero. I was jumping onto tables and whatever I could to get away from the creatures. But then the dream shifted quickly and the crocodile was huge and snapping at me while I was trying to escape from it. Eventually a wildlife person showed up and at that point I had done damage to both of the creatures. The crocodile somehow became smaller while the wildlife person was handling it and he tried to put it in his front shirt pocket, but when he did that it bit his nose slightly. Then the dream shifted slightly again and the iguana-like creature was back and also very large, and I was attacking it. It had green blood and goo coming from its body where I had hit it. Then my cat, Zero, was there and the iguana creature attacked Zero and bit him. I was horrified as I watched Zero on the ground on his side, his breathing becoming more and more rapid as if he was poisoned by the toxic bite of the creature. Then that’s when I woke up.
This dream seems to reflect feelings of fear, vulnerability, and a desire to protect your loved ones in waking life. The setting of your childhood family house could suggest a return to a place of comfort and familiarity, but the presence of strange and menacing creatures in the fish tanks represents feelings of unease and potential threat in your current life. The morphing of the fish into other creatures suggests a sense of transformation or unpredictability in your surroundings. Your attempts to remove and eliminate these creatures from the house indicate a desire to confront and overcome challenges or dangers in your life. Your fear and panic in the dream may symbolize feelings of being overwhelmed or out of control in a certain situation. The involvement of your sister and cat in the dream may symbolize your concerns for the well-being of your loved ones and your need to protect them. The appearance of a wildlife person could represent external help or guidance being needed to deal with the challenges you are facing. The wildlife person's attempt to handle the creatures may symbolize your own efforts to contain and control the difficult or threatening aspects of your life. The symbolic bite and poisoning of your cat, Zero, by the iguana creature may represent a fear of harm coming to those you care about or a sense of powerlessness in protecting them. The green blood and goo could indicate feelings of disgust or emotional turmoil related to the situation. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of your subconscious fears and anxieties, as well as your deep desire to protect and safeguard your loved ones. It could be beneficial to reflect on any current stressors or challenges in your life that may be symbolized by the dream imagery, and to consider ways to address and overcome these feelings of fear and vulnerability.
